ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Madeline LeCompte

Since an early age, Madeline LeCompte knew she wanted to work in the communications field after watching a television series where the main characters showcased the glamorous life of public relations. As she continued her education, Madeline quickly realized it was not the “glamor” that attracted her to the field but the responsibility of great storytelling. Inspired by this realization, Madeline hit the ground running - merging her love for writing and strategy to help clients positively impact the individuals they serve.

Madeline started her career at a Chicago-based PR firm, working closely with nationally known clients, including the nation’s largest rent-to-own housing provider. There she managed leader outreach and engagement, created engaging copy for social posts and blogs, and helped lead nationwide digital, display, and paid social campaigns. These experiences gave Madeline an even deeper understanding of how communication and savvy storytelling can propel clients to success.

Blending her project management experience and passion for storytelling, Madeline is laser-focused on helping clients perfect their messaging. At Hawthorne, Madeline’s professional drive is matched only by her passion and talent for cultivating thoughtful relationships between her clients and their audiences. Her client work includes drafting internal communications, writing owned media, monitoring the media landscape for relevant news, and brainstorming new and unique story angles that help set her clients apart.
