Alex was attracted to Hawthorne Strategy Group after learning about its tight-knit family culture, and commitment to developing successful strategic communications plans for clients. Having learned about the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders on meaningful projects and take on challenging responsibilities, Alex knew he could call Hawthorne home.
Since joining Hawthorne, Alex has gotten down in the trenches, developing strategies and driving messaging for Evinrude and BRP Marine Group on key economic and trade issues, leading the creation of creative marketing materials for the Chicago Dental Society, and spearheading media relations efforts for a three-month product demonstration tour that took Evinrude across the Midwest.
Alex graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a B.S. in political science.
In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, reading, cooking, and volunteering. He volunteers for PRSA Chicago and Changing Worlds, where he heads public relations, media outreach, and donor and investor relations.
