Tom brings several years of media relations, public affairs, and digital and grassroots campaign strategy experience to Hawthorne. Harnessing his diverse background, Tom has developed and managed thoughtful communications strategies while providing creative media relations and public engagement support to a broad range of Hawthorne clients.
After cutting his teeth as an intern at Kivvit Public Relations, Tom has gone on to diversify his public relations and marketing portfolio with positions ranging from non-profit communications at The Juvenile Protective Association, running communications for a local Chicago political campaign, and leading strategic email marketing, SEO, and list management at All-Inbox.
A graduate of DePaul University, Tom has a B.A. in public relations and advertising and a minor in political science with an emphasis in American political theory.
Out of the office Tom finds time to keep his heart rate up by playing soccer, rock climbing, and practicing Jiu Jitsu, while also remaining active in local grassroots politics.
