Nothing gives Anahi Leyva greater joy than knowing that her work positively impacts clients. Her passion for communication started when she realized the influence that strong storytellers could have on the world. After just one course in public relations, she knew that was the field she wanted to work in.
At Hawthorne, Anahi uses her passion for insights and analytics, creativity and wide range of communications skills – including her Spanish speaking background – to support clients across industries like healthcare, nonprofit, business and tourism. Helping them enhance internal communications, increase brand awareness and build their reputation.
Prior to joining Hawthorne Strategy Group, Anahi worked as a client relations specialist for Panasonic. This experience allowed Anahi to get a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of a global business. Now she supports our global client, Dexcom, with research into the diabetes and health equity space to support the development of their public affairs program. Other clients include the Women's Business Development Center, the Chicago Dental Society and Choose Chicago.
Anahi graduated from DePaul University College of Communication with a BA in Public Relations and Advertising. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local coffee shops, working on her photography skills, and attending live music events.
