Griffin Owens

Untitled design (43).png

Griffin Owens is a passionate communicator dedicated to working alongside others to help clients address their needs. He understands that effective communication starts with understanding not only a client’s goals, challenges, and values, but also the motivations of the audiences they are trying to reach. A senior at Loyola University Chicago, Griffin will graduate in fall 2026 with a B.A. in Public Relations & Advertising.

Prior to joining Hawthorne, Griffin served as a Strategist and Researcher for Inigo Communications, Loyola Chicago’s student-run communications agency. There, he led a discovery phase and created numerous deliverables such as a Cinco De Mayo social media package for Chicago-based Flaco’s Tacos. Griffin has also worked at Montgomery Community Media in Montgomery County, Maryland, researching and scriptwriting social media content for the organization and highlighting community events and their local impact for an audience of more than 1 million residents.

After hours, you may be able to spot Griffin running down the Lakeshore Trail. If not, he will likely be spending time with his roommates or searching for a good bite to eat around the city.
