Tyler Alexander is a communicator dedicated to finding innovative ways to tell bold and moving stories. He is a recent graduate of the George Washington University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Communications.

At Hawthorne, Tyler is always searching for new ways to push organizations’ messages forward. By using cutting-edge mediums or strategically targeting audiences, Tyler ensures that a client’s story will resonate with the right people. Tyler knows that a powerful message, combined with thoughtful delivery, can yield incredible results.

Before coming to Hawthorne, Tyler worked at CURA Strategies, a public relations firm in the Washington D.C. area that focuses exclusively on healthcare clients. There, he supported events that allowed patients and caregivers to meet directly with their Members of Congress. He also supported content development for national clients' social media campaigns and provided media support for a client amid litigation against them. Closer to home, Tyler worked for the Big Shoulders Fund, where he created engaging public and donor-facing video campaigns for schools across Chicago’s South and West Sides.

In his free time, Tyler likes to read (his overwhelming backlog demands it), take his online Mario Kart standing too seriously, or bike along some of Chicagoland's many incredible trails.
